Hi my Fantastic Fourth Graders!

I hope everyone enjoyed their Spring Break!

All of you have been working so hard these past few months and I hope each of you to took this time to relax and have some fun.

I actually got to take a surprise trip down Orlando, Florida for some sun and warm weather!
I can't wait to tell you guys all about it when we get back!

Missed Ya Monday

Since we weren't here yesterday, I would love to hear what you did on your day off or even over the Presidents' Day weekend!

I was supposed to go to the Poconos, but I was feeling too sick on Friday that I decided to stay home. Since I didn't go I was able to celebrate my sister Valerie's 24th birthday on Saturday and succeeded in getting 9 pages done for my Research Project! Woo, almost done!

Groundhog Day

Today is Groundhog Day! A day that will predict for us when Spring will finally make its arrival. If the groundhog sees his shadow, he will return to hibernation and there will be six more weeks of winter. However, if the groundhog doesn't see his shadow then spring will come earlier this year! I am hoping that the groundhog does not see his shadow because I love the warm weather and would love to see Spring come early this year!

Winter Break

People all over the world celebrate different winter holidays! Some of them include Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, and many more! My family celebrates Christmas. During the Christmas season, we decorate our house, bake cookies, and buy presents for our families and friends. 


After Christmas, I traveled to Vermont, where I got to finally see snow! While I was in Vermont, it snowed for three days so there was a ton of snow on the ground. My fiancé's family and I enjoyed great dinners in the mountains, dog sledding, and snow mobiling.

I would love to hear what you all did on during the winter break. What fun activities or traditions do you celebrate with your family during the holiday season?

Thanksgiving Feast

Is Thanksgiving over already?! 

I hope each of you had a very happy Thanksgiving this year!

Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays! I am always thankful to be able to spend Thanksgiving with my family. Our day was filled with lots of love, laughter, and of course…lots of food! Our feast seemed endless! First, we enjoyed a delicious soup my mom made before moving on to turkey, yams, cornbread, stuffing, and so much more. We finally ended our Thanksgiving feast with a yummy pie baked by my sister. By the end of the day I was stuffed and ready for a nap! 

I would love to hear all about your Thanksgiving festivities! What were some delicious foods you ate? Was there anything special that you did with your family that you would like to share?
